Staying here was a dream! The family apartment had a fine terrace overlooking the iconic Svetitskoveli church and Jvari monastery. With two cozy bedrooms and a convenient kitchen, it seemed like home. Plus, the owner served the best breakfast in town! Perfectly situated to explore in under 10 minutes, I was enchanted!

I really enjoyed tasty breakfast, particularly nice views.

I booked a room with a comfy bed, central heating, multi-channel television and a microwave. The bathroom was particularly good, it was nice to have bathtubs.

The room was exceptionally nice and cozy and offered central heating, multi-channel television, and a microwave. It looked out to garden. Location: the hotel was very close to the centre of Old Mshketa and mountains and Dzwari monastir and the old parts of the city. The place had a QUIET atmosphere.

What they got right and wrong

The location was a dream, right across from Svetitskhoveli Church! Dining on the terrace with amazing views of Jvari Monastery made our meals lovely!

One downside was the tiny bathroom, which could be a bit inconvenient for families.

Staff was super helpful and hospitable.

Great view from terrace

We loved the old capital hotel! It's just across from the amazing svetitskoveli church. Our family 2-bedroom apartment was nice, with a great terrace where we enjoyed meals while taking in the view of jvari monastery. The location was perfect, as we could walk to most places in under 10 minutes.

Terrace views for days!

The owner whipped up the best breakfasts! We loved hanging out on the balcony, taking in those fine monastery and mountain views. Only wish the bathroom was a bit bigger for more comfort.

Charming Stay with a Fine Terrace View

Spent two nights enjoying amazing views of the monasteries from our terrace. The cozy apartment was a great base for exploring the area. We wish the bathroom was a bit larger, but the views made up for it. Don't miss the charming onsite café!

The family 2-bedroom apartment offered a lovely terrace where we dined while enjoying fine views of the nearby church and monastery. The location is unbeatable, with everything within a short walking distance. While the bathroom was a bit cramped and the internet connection could be spotty, the owner's awesome breakfast and helpfulness significantly enhanced our experience.

I loved how easily I could walk to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in less than a 5-minute walk and enjoy the fine views of the nearby Mukhatgverdi Lake on my strolls around Mtskheta, making it a perfect spot for any city explorer like me.

The view from our charming terrace was amazing! I loved enjoying meals outside while gazing at Jvari Monastery. The only downside was the small bathroom, but the amazing location made up for it 😊
